"Riley"

Riley was my agility dog and third Puli.
He loved doing agility and what a jumper; looking back wish we had done more trials. Three weeks before his leaving
this world behind, he tried so hard for his third leg in Excellent Jumpers With Weaves. He did half the course and pulled
up at a fence. Taking one look at him I knew his frail body just could not do a whole course. I thanked the judge,
picked him up and left the ring bawling my eyes out, knowing that his last days were near. Riley had the deepest, darkest
brown eyes that would melt your heart. I would catch him so many times just staring up at me and the expression was
so full of love as his eyes were so soft and endearing; sometimes I got the feeling if Riley could talk he would. He
had been suffering from a digestive problem that went into liver failure.
Riley, may you now rest in peace under
the old oak tree and I cannot thank you enough for trying so hard to get that excellent title, just for me... truly loved
and sorely missed, your spirit that soared through those soft dark brown eyes will forever be with me...
