"Broughan" AKA "Dodie" AKA "Grandma"

Broughan almost
made it to 17 years and more than likely would have made it well past 17 had I not gone to a dog show where I brought back
a virus that went through all but 4 of the 'kids'. Because of her age the virus proved to be too much.
In her day, Broughan could have excelled in the sport of obedience had I not been so involved in the conformation ring.
She was a great 'mom' to her 'kids' and even to the 'grandkids' that followed. Taking her motherly
instincts even further when two puli pups from Hungary landed on our doorstep. Seems as though she must have sensed
them beeing orphans or starving, as that evening she gobbled up her food and then went over to their pen and regurgitated.
For sure I could write a book about this one special girl. Precious memories never to be forgotten. Our Dodie
girl now rests on the hillside next to Wicket.
