"Billyjoe"

Billyjoe started stroking out the morning of August
23rd, so was rushed to the vet, no recourse but to give him the magic shot. He was 15.4 years old. It is so hard
to lose any of them at any age but especially these old guys they seem to tug a little harder on the heart. I had fallen
in love with Billyjoe at a Speciality when he was just a youngster. It was breath taking to watch him move in the
show gait. The owner/ breeder Maggie Snell fell ill and could no longer keep him so she offered him to me knowing I
had showed a great interest in him. I will always be indebted to her and can not thank her enough for entrusting me
with her boy. These pictures were taken at 12 years of age. Billyjoe came to me at the age of 10 already cut down
and in two years his cords were to the ground. He was one hair making machine. I was told his cords were some
that were used for the Puli in the famous Budweiser commercial. Having been such a stud-muffin he was my barometer when
the girls were ready! He would pace back and forth like a lion in a cage and bark non-stop. Surely one of the
great ones I will never forget. May you now rest in peace under the old oak tree. Your absence has now caused
a void in the house. You are truly missed and yes your cat Raskus kept looking for you for days, I am sure he will forever
miss the baths and the crate time he had with you.
